This tutorial will guide you through the descaling process of your Nespresso Pixie machine. Before starting, please note the process takes approximately 15 minutes and the descaling solution can be harmful. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and surfaces. First, ensure there is no capsule inside the machine by lifting and closing the lever. Then empty the drip tray and the used capsule container. Fill the water tank with 0.5 L of fresh potable water and add the Nespresso descaling liquid. Place a container under the coffee outlet with a minimum volume of 0.6 L. Switch the machine on. If the light is blinking, it means the machine is heating up. When the light becomes steady, it means the machine is ready. To enter the descaling mode press both coffee buttons simultaneously for three seconds. They will start blinking. Press the Lungo button and wait until the water tank is empty. Refill the water tank with the used
descaling solution collected in the container and press the Lungo button until the water tank is empty. Empty and rinse the water tank Fill it with fresh drinking water. When ready, press the Lungo button to rinse machine. Repeat the rinsing process twice.
